In May we welcome the season of spring with the blooming of another 10 cafes in Singapore. From interesting collaboration between coffee father and bike retailer, to new dessert concept opened up by celebrities, we sure have interesting cafes to try this month.
If you are not done with the new cafes in March and April, you sure have a lot to catch up on!
ROUSE
Rouse is a new rustic and vintage looking cafe that has just joined the popular Jalan Besar neighbourhood. The coffee and cakes here look really good and the menu is also rather unique to Rouse.

COAST & COMPANY
A collaboration between a famed local coffee roaster Papa Palheta and a boutique bike builder store Coast Cycles produces a novel concept store which is both a cafe and a bike showroom at the same time. How can we not feel excited about its opening this weekend?

About the fourth cafe to join the new office district at One North, Curbside Cafe makes a really nice and relaxed chill out place for the working crowd, as well as the students from nearby institute. You can find main courses and good coffee here.

DULCE & SUCRE
Following the success of Twelve Cupcakes, Daniel and Jamie are on their roll in getting more F&B concepts out. The latest addition to their group would be Dulcet & Sucre, a desserts store churning out intricately designed pastries. Located conveniently at Orchard in the new mall, Orchard Gateway, you now have a new place to satisfy your sugar cravings while shopping in town.

I hear the Easties celebrating. Another cafe bistro has opened up in the Katong area, joining Group Therapy Cafe and Penny University along the East Coast Road stretch. They are freshly opened, and has just launched a new menu which offers brunch and dinner set.
TART BLANC
Located at the same place as Patisserie G in Millenia Walk, it tries to outshine with its own creations of tarts and pastries. Each of them is beautifully designed and crafted to perfection.

THE DREAM CAFE
Though The Dream Cafe has been opened for five months already, it is still lying low, quietly hiding at the void deck of a Toa Payoh HDB block. Find this sweet hideout for a waffles & gelato escapade.
